Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen

By placing an order, accessing this website, or using any services provided by Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are legally binding and designed to protect both the customer and the business.

1. Orders & Acceptance

A minimum order of one dozen (12) cookies is required for all custom cookie orders.

All orders are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment or deposit has been received. Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at its sole discretion.

2. Payments, Deposits & Chargebacks

A 50% non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your order date. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to pickup or delivery.

By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for services that have been fulfilled as agreed.

Any fraudulent chargebacks or disputes may result in:

Immediate cancellation of current and future orders

Additional recovery fees

Legal action if necessary

3. Order Timing & Availability

A minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice is required for custom orders.

Rush orders may be accepted depending on availability and may include an additional fee. Availability is not guaranteed for last-minute requests.

4. Custom Designs & Creative Discretion

All cookies are handmade and individually designed.

While inspiration photos may be provided, exact replication is not guaranteed. By placing an order, you grant Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen full creative discretion to interpret your request and produce the best possible final result.

Minor variations in color, design, and detail are expected and are not considered defects.

5. Cancellations, Changes & Refund Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

Orders canceled within seven (7) days of the scheduled pickup date are not eligible for a refund.

Changes to orders are not guaranteed once the order has been confirmed and may not be accommodated close to the fulfillment date.

If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within twenty-four (24) hours of pickup. After this timeframe, all sales are considered final.

Refunds, replacements, or credits are issued at the sole discretion of Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen.

6. Pickup, Delivery & Transfer of Responsibility

All orders are for local pickup in Forest Hill, Maryland unless otherwise agreed.

Once an order has been picked up or delivered, full responsibility transfers to the customer. Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen is not liable for:

Damage during transport

Improper storage

Environmental exposure

Customers are responsible for safely transporting and properly storing their order.

7. Allergen Disclaimer

Products are made in a home kitchen that may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to:

Wheat

Dairy

Eggs

Soy

Nuts

We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment. Customers with allergies assume full responsibility when purchasing.

8. Product Nature & Perishability

All products are perishable and made fresh.

Quality and condition are guaranteed at the time of pickup only. Proper handling and storage after pickup are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Photography & Marketing Use

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen reserves the right to photograph and use images of all products for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes without compensation or prior notice.

10. Third-Party Platforms & Services

This business utilizes third-party tools, platforms, and services, including systems provided through American Dreams Marketing, payment processors, and ordering platforms.

We are not responsible for:

Platform outages

Payment processor errors

Technical disruptions

Third-party data handling practices

Use of these services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or services.

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order.

12. Force Majeure

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Illness

Weather conditions

Supply shortages

Equipment failure

Acts of God

Government restrictions

In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or provide alternative solutions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved within the appropriate jurisdiction in Maryland.

14. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
