By placing an order, subscribing, accessing this website, or using any services provided by Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are legally binding and designed to protect both the customer and the business.

1. Cottage Food Operation Notice

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen is a home-based cottage food business operating in Forest Hill, Maryland.

Products are made in a residential kitchen that is not subject to the same inspection standards as a commercial facility.

Due to Maryland cottage food laws:

Shipping is limited to addresses within the State of Maryland only

We do not offer or fulfill out-of-state shipping

2. Ordering Platforms & Services

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen utilizes multiple ordering systems:

Custom and one-time cookie orders are processed through a third-party platform (Bakesy)

Cookie Crew Club subscriptions are processed directly through our website platform

By placing an order or subscribing, you acknowledge that:

Different products may only be available on specific platforms

Pricing, availability, and policies may vary depending on the ordering method

Third-party platform transactions are subject to their own terms and policies

3. Orders & Acceptance

A minimum order of one dozen (12) cookies is required for all custom cookie orders.

All orders are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment or deposit has been received.

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at its sole discretion.

4. Payments, Deposits & Chargebacks

A 50% non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your order date.

The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to pickup, delivery, or shipment.

By completing a purchase or subscription, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or dispute for services that have been fulfilled as agreed.

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

Immediate cancellation of current and future orders

Additional recovery fees

Legal action if necessary

5. Kitchen Crew Club Subscription Terms

By joining the Kitchen Crew Club, you agree to the following subscription terms:

The Kitchen Crew Club is a monthly subscription service billed on a recurring basis and processed directly through Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen’s website platform.

Subscription Options & Pricing

6 Count Mystery Box

$25 per month (pickup only)

$35 per month (shipped within Maryland)

12 Count Mystery Box

$45 per month (pickup only)

$55 per month (shipped within Maryland)

12 Count Gluten-Free Box

$55 per month (pickup only)

$65 per month (shipped within Maryland)

All shipped subscription options include a shipping fee and are limited to Maryland addresses only.

Billing & Charges

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled

Billing occurs based on your signup date or billing cycle

All subscription payments are non-refundable once processed

Monthly Cutoff & Fulfillment

Orders must be placed by the 10th of each month to be included in that month’s shipment

All Kitchen Crew Club boxes are prepared and fulfilled on the 15th of each month

Orders placed after the 10th will roll into the following month’s cycle

Pickup & Shipping

Pickup orders must be collected at the scheduled time provided

Shipped orders are delivered within Maryland only

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen is not responsible for carrier delays once shipped

Cancellations

Subscriptions must be canceled before the next billing cycle

Cancellations made after billing will apply to the following month

No refunds will be issued for processed subscription payments

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, your subscription may be paused or canceled

Future deliveries are not guaranteed until payment is successfully completed

Product Experience

Each monthly box includes rotating flavors, designs, and seasonal inspiration

Cookie selections are a mystery experience and are not customizable

Products are made fresh in small batches and may vary each month

Gluten-Free Subscription Option

Gluten-free options are available using gluten-free ingredients and strict preparation practices

Additional fees apply for gluten-free selections

All products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles common allergens

We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment

Limited Availability

Subscription spots may be limited each month to maintain quality and small batch production

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen reserves the right to limit or close subscriptions at any time

6. Order Timing & Availability

A minimum of one to two (1–2) weeks’ notice is required for custom orders.

Rush orders may be accepted based on availability and may include an additional fee.

Availability is not guaranteed for last-minute requests.

7. Custom Designs & Creative Discretion

All cookies are handmade and individually designed.

While inspiration photos may be provided, exact replication is not guaranteed.

By placing an order, you grant Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen full creative discretion.

Minor variations in color, design, and detail are expected and are not considered defects.

8. Gluten-Free Orders

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen offers gluten-free cookie options using gluten-free ingredients and strict preparation practices to minimize cross-contact.

We take gluten-free preparation seriously and make every effort to prevent cross-contamination.

However, all products are prepared in a home kitchen environment where allergens may be present, and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

All gluten-free cookie orders must be placed through the contact page.

Gluten-free products are not available for direct purchase through third-party platforms or subscription services.

Customers with severe allergies or sensitivities assume full responsibility when purchasing.

9. Cancellations, Changes & Refund Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

Orders canceled within seven (7) days of the scheduled pickup, delivery, or shipment date are not eligible for a refund.

Changes to orders are not guaranteed once confirmed.

If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within twenty-four (24) hours.

After this timeframe, all sales are considered final.

Refunds, replacements, or credits are issued at the sole discretion of Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen.

10. Pickup, Delivery & Shipping

Orders may be fulfilled via:

Local pickup in Forest Hill, Maryland

Local delivery (if offered)

Shipping within Maryland only

Once an order has been picked up, delivered, or shipped:

Full responsibility transfers to the customer

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen is not liable for damage during transport or shipping

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

11. Product Storage & Freshness

Our heat-sealed cookies stay fresh for up to 2 weeks at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.

To freeze, place the sealed cookies in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. When ready to enjoy, remove the container and allow it to thaw at room temperature for several hours or overnight. Let any condensation evaporate before opening for the best texture and freshness.

Failure to follow proper storage instructions may affect product quality, and we are not responsible for product condition after transfer of responsibility.

12. Allergen Disclaimer

Products are made in a home kitchen that may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including:

Wheat

Dairy

Eggs

Soy

Nuts

We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Customers with allergies assume full responsibility when purchasing.

13. Product Nature & Perishability

All products are perishable and made fresh.

Quality and condition are guaranteed at the time of pickup, delivery, or shipment only.

14. Photography & Marketing Use

Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen reserves the right to photograph and use images of all products for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation or prior notice.

15. Third-Party Platforms & Services

We utilize third-party tools and platforms including:

Payment processors

Website and automation systems

We are not responsible for platform outages, payment errors, or technical disruptions.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aunt Jenny Jenn’s Kitchen shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the order.

17. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our control, including illness, weather, supply shortages, or equipment failure.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

19. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
